Allan Bright opened Spruce Creek Outfitters in July of 1986. A native of Aaronsburg, Allan grew up fishing on Elk and Penn's Creeks and has been fly fishing for more than 30 years.  An expert fly fisherman and guide, Allan has been the subject of several local television documentaries and newspaper articles. He is also an avid conservationist and has devoted much of his time and energy to keeping public water free and accessible to everyone.

Pam Bright has been Allan's sidekick in all things special for more than twenty years.  Though Pam doesn't guide for the shop, she is knowledgeable about fly fishing in her own right and can recommend what to use and where to go when the fishing's tricky.  Often, you can find Pam watching the shop when Allan has a few precious moments to himself to go fishing.
